The River Thames, the second longest in the UK flows for 215 miles from the heart of Gloucestershire to the English Channel near Southend. This tour follows the length of this mighty river.

Suggested itinerary by coach
Day 1
Oxford Cruise, Thames Source and arrive at hotel.
Your first main stop will be at Oxford, though if time permits, you may be able to visit Thames Head near the Village of Kemble, the source of the River Thames. In the afternoon, cruise between Oxford and Abingdon (approx two hours). Then travel to your hotel in the Reading area for dinner.
Day 2
The Thames Valley Cruise.
After breakfast, you take a short drive to Caversham Bridge where you join your boat for a cruise to Henley which lasts just over two hours. Scenic drive following the Thames through Marlow, Cookham and Maidenhead before returning to your hotel.
Day 3
The Thames into London Cruise.
After breakfast, drive to Hampton Court, before continuing to Kew where you board your boat for the 90 minute trip into Central London. In the afternoon, there will be some free time in Central London, before continuing to your London hotel.
Day 4
The London to Greenwich Cruise and return home.
After breakfast, you drive to Westminster Pier where you will join your boat for the final trip to Greenwich. During the 75 minute journey there will be a commentary from a knowledge guide. On arrival in Greenwich there will be some free time before you rejoin your coach driving through the tunnel under the Thames with a short visit to the Thames Barrier Park* before heading home.
*Entrance to Visitor Centre not included.
