Day 1
Depart the UK.
Travel to Ireland by coach and ferry or fly from your local airport to Cork.
Day 2
Ring of Kerry.
Today, enjoy a day excursion to the famous ‘Ring of Kerry’ with a specialist guide. Travel from Killarney to Killorgin, Glenbeigh and Caherciveen, Waterville and Sneem, finishing at the colourful fishing town of Kenmare before travelling back to Killarney. Along the way you will experience the captivating beauty and breathtaking scenery that makes up this unmissable area of Ireland.
Day 3
Killarney, Jaunting Car trip and Muckross House.
Enjoy a morning at leisure in Killarney. In the afternoon, take a jaunting car to Muckross House and Gardens. The jewel of Killarney National Park, Muckross House and Gardens is a must-see. Features of Muckross Gardens include a fine collection of Rhododendrons, a Sunken Garden, a Rock Garden and a Stream Garden.
Day 4
Tralee and the Dingle Peninsula.
Visit Tralee – here the Kerry Museum is a must-see, then continue onto the rugged and windswept Dingle Peninsula, whose western tip is the most westerly point in the whole of Ireland. Take in the varied and striking scenery, see the Dingle lighthouse, visit the West Kerry Museum or take a boat trip out to spot Fungi, Dingle’s resident dolphin!
Day 5
Return home.
After breakfast say fond farewells to Ireland and commence your journey home by coach and ferry. Alternatively fly from Cork airport.
