Day 3

Trim Castle and Newgrange.

Today make the short walk across the road for your tour of Trim Castle. This dramatic castle is the largest Anglo-Norman castle in Ireland and it is clear to see why its imposing walls were used in the filming of ‘Braveheart’. Open for over 80 years the company has earned a reputation for fine silverware design and craftsmanship. The centre is a contemporary shopper’s paradise! Also onsite is the Museum of Style Icons which hosts numerous collections and artefacts relating to Stars of the Silver Screen and many modern day artists – including Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, Princess Grace, Princess Diana, Michael Jackson, Michael Flatley, the Beatles and many more.
