Zundert is located just over the border from Belgium and on the first Sunday in September, it is host to the annual Zundert Flower Parade which attracts tens of thousands of visitors every year. It is one of the most beautiful parades in the Netherlands and has been turning heads since 1936. Rotterdam World Port Day
A delight for people of all ages who love sailing ships, ports and maritime adventures. Spectacular demonstrations on the water, impressive ships and exciting port excursions. This World Port event gives an insight into Europe’s largest harbour. A wide range of activities is offered to the visitors. This large, annual maritime event offers all kind of activities such as ship tours, naval activities, demonstrations, seminars, excursions, exhibitions, music and fireworks. Visitors can furthermore enjoy breathtaking stunts and spectacular action from the Erasmus Bridge or from the Wilhelminakade.
Parade Day
Spend the morning looking around Zundert and enjoy the entertainers dotted around the streets. Browse the local markets before taking your place for the parade. The afternoon is spent watching the Flower Parade which volunteers have been preparing for a whole year to create. Zundert also provides music and theatre performances throughout the town.
